We can’t wait to welcome you to Trent Bridge. To prepare you for your first-ever visit to our home, we’ve compiled a handy guide to help make your experience as enjoyable as possible.
Before you leave
Tickets
If you’ve pre-purchased your tickets online, download our ticketing app ‘Trent Bridge Tickets,’ from your app store, and ensure your tickets are there and downloaded in the app before you travel. This will help if the mobile signal is busy or you can’t connect to our free wi-fi on arrival at the ground.
Download the app below:
To help our friendly stewards get you through our gates quickly, turn up your phone brightness and have your tickets ready to access.
What to bring
Some of our stands have no cover so it’s best to come prepared for any weather. Consider bringing high-factor sun cream, a hat, sunglasses, waterproofs and layers for changing conditions (it can get chilly later in the day, so an extra layer can be beneficial).
Fireworks and pyrotechnics will fire during our players' walk-out and music will play at intervals throughout the match, so we suggest bringing ear defenders for youngsters in your party or those that are sensitive to loud noises. Psst! If you do forget your ear defenders, we have sets available to borrow from our Ticket Office or Radcliffe Road Stand Reception.
A fully charged phone (for accessing tickets and our fan guide, playing our big- screen quiz and of course to capture photos).
A refillable water bottle.
Your payment card or mobile device, as we are a cashless venue.
Any medication you regularly need.
Must-do moment
Think of a ‘must‑do’ moment: perhaps, a food stop at a unit that makes your mouth water, a photo of our beautiful ground as the sun sets, meeting our mascot Nuts or collecting autographs from our players after the match.
When you arrive
Get set up in five minutes
Locate where you are on our ground maps and get your bearings. If you are unsure of how to reach a particular area, our stewards or volunteers in blue will gladly help.
Locate key essentials near your seating area: Toilets, baby changing points, first aid, hydration stations, children’s entertainment, and food & drink outlets.
Organise an agreed meeting point with your party, should anyone become separated. Psst! If you have youngsters with you, then pick up a wristband for your child to wear from one of our stewards or volunteers, to help us quickly reunite you should you become separated.
Keep an eye out for Nuts, our mascot, who will appear around the ground during the match!
First Time Fan Certificate
Under 12s can pick up a first-time fan certificate from Radcliffe Road Reception or under the Bridgford Road Stand. Psst! Don’t forget to tag us in a photo of your family posing with the certificate.
Before play
Food and drink
If you feel peckish on arrival, you’ll find something tasty, at one of our independent food vendors, found within the TBI Courtyard, Acrisure Stand concourse and Bridgford Road Stand concourse. See what's on the menu here...
Choose your spot
As seating is unreserved, we suggest arriving a little earlier to give you more choice to secure your perfect spot and to explore the ground before it gets too busy. Psst! you can even move around the stadium throughout the evening and try a different stand. You can find a full guide on which stand to try here...
Try one activity
Before play and during the interval, free family activities will take place on the Bridgford Road stand concourse. Psst! Take part early on before it gets busy.
Grab your giveaways
Pick up a giveaway from one of our volunteers. These will include 4/6 cards, hand waver flags, foam fingers or clap banners. Keep hold of your freebies after the match to bring next time, have fun with at home, or pass onto a friend. Remember all our paper-based giveaways are fully recyclable.
Merchandise
Peruse one of our four retail stores, pick a team shirt to show your support or buy a souvenir to take home.
Taking time out
If anyone in your party needs time out from all the hustle and bustle, quiet rooms can be found next to the Radcliffe Road Stand Reception or within the Ticket Office. One of our friendly staff will point you in the right direction.
Legends in the making
If you’re attending with a baby or toddler, you’re most welcome to use our baby feeding space next to Radcliffe Road Reception. This is a quiet room with baby change facility, comfortable chair, toys, and a highchair. You are of course welcome to feed your baby within our stands, and we even have accreditation as a breastfeeding friendly venue.
Accessible facilities
We have several wheelchair spaces around the ground, and a steward or volunteer will be able to direct you to these. Our Bridgford Road Stand accessible gantry has electric wheelchair charging points if needed. Psst! Kindly note wheelchair spaces within Radcliffe Road middle are not suitable for those requiring a carer who sits to the side at eye-line, and the Acrisure Stand has no accessible access. All our accessible toilets require a radar key, but should you forget yours a steward or volunteer will be able to lend you one.
During play: what to watch for
If you’re new to cricket, these are the easiest “big moments” to follow:
- A six: a ball hit over the boundary on the full.
- A wicket: when a batter is out — often a key turning point.
- A big catch: a standout moment that can change momentum quickly.
- The last over: a high‑energy finish where the match can swing late.
Psst! If you’re unsure what’s happening, follow the crowd’s reactions - it’s often the best guide for first‑timers.
After play
Meet the players
Follow the in‑ground guidance on where and when to go to meet your heroes.
Bring something easy to sign (cap or shirt) or pick up an autograph card from our volunteers. Don’t worry about a pen as our players will have one.
Finish your first‑timer moment
If you haven’t already done so, claim your first-time fan certificate from Radcliffe Road Reception.
Plan your next visit
We’d love you to join us again, so don’t forget to buy your tickets in advance to save money. Then pick one goal for next time: try a different view, sample a new food stall, take part in our family QR trail, complete more matchday activities, or bring a friend who’s never been to Trent Bridge before.
One last tip
We’re a very friendly bunch, so if you need help at any point, speak to the nearest member of staff, steward or volunteer. If you’d rather not talk to anyone personally you can send an SMS to 88440, starting your text with ‘Notts,’ saying your stand and seat number and your reason for assistance.
