With various courses available for umpiring officials at all levels, you can assume your vantage point for the best view at any ground.

Young Officials Programme

The Notts Young Cricket Officials Programme initiative gives young officials high-quality training and utilises key partners and club mentors to support them as they begin their journey as a qualified official.

Volunteers 

Volunteers are the heartbeat of our club and league network. From ground staff, to coaches, from officials, to committee members, our game simply wouldn’t be possible without them.

Groundspeople

Ground staff are fundamental to cricket. No other surface affects the sport it is played on more than a cricket pitch, and ground staff are vital in the enjoyment and safety of those who play. 

Safeguarding

Club Safeguarding Officers are vital members of the club and key to making an environment safe, welcoming and friendly for everyone to enjoy the game of cricket.

Club Safeguarding Officers must be over 18 years of age and hold a current ECB issued DBS Certificate.

Safeguarding Level 2 Course

The ECB have introduced the Safeguarding Level 2 (SGL2) online courses which forms the foundation for individuals who hold a specialist role withing cricket. This course is a direct replacement of the Safeguarding for Specialist Roles and Safeguarding Young Cricketer (SYC) course, although the format has changed, and only need completing once the SSR/SYC has expired.

The new course is aimed at those who want and need more knowledge and information on effective safeguarding within your club. The courses are free to complete.

Those individuals in cricket who hold a specialist role should complete the one-hour course and the course assessment to get a certificate: it also will update the Safe Hands Management System that a person is compliant.
