The Blaze host Southern Vipers (5 July) at the home of Chesterfield Cricket Club, seeking to extend their current unbeaten streak in the competition.

Admittance for this fixture is free of charge.

The following hours of play apply to the fixture:

  • Gates: 9:30am

  • Toss: 10am

  • Start of play: 10.30am

  • Interval: 1:40pm

  • Second innings: 2:10pm

  • Close: 5.20pm

Car parking

Parking is available on the ground for spectators at a cost of £5 per car - the entrance is clearly visible with two large yellow signs outside the ground.  

Alternatively, visitors can park in signposted public car parks nearby to the ground

Traveling By Train

A regular rail service runs to Chesterfield, which is 1.1miles from Queen’s park. Local taxis will be available at the railway station. Alternatively, allow 25 minutes for a walk to the venue.

Seating

Temporary seats are in place around the ground which visitors are welcome to make use of. Spectators are welcome to bring seating of their own - deck chairs, picnic rugs etc - if preferred. 

Food and Drink

The club’s bar and tea hut will be open all day serving a range of hot and cold drinks, snacks and alcoholic beverages. 

Toilet Facilities

Toilet facilities will be available around the ground and will be clearly signposted.
