Trent Bridge’s international fixtures for 2025 have been confirmed, with England’s men and women set to grace Nottinghamshire’s turf across multiple formats.

From Thursday 22 May, the Three Lions will welcome Zimbabwe for the first men’s Test Match in West Bridgford between the sides in 25 years, before England Women host India in an IT20 on Saturday 28 June.

A star-studded England Men’s side will then play an IT20 against South Africa on Sunday 14 September to close out the year’s international calendar at Trent Bridge.

2025 Nottinghamshire members will receive first access to tickets from Friday 6 September, with memberships to go on sale on the same day.

Those who are successful in the 2025 ticketing ballot will be able to secure their seats from Thursday 26 September, with the ballot opening on Thursday 29 August.

“Trent Bridge is at its best when we welcome England to town, and each of our international fixtures next summer promises to be special,” said Nottinghamshire's Commercial Director Michael Temple.

"Test cricket can only thrive in the long term if as many countries as possible retain the ambition to compete, so we look forward to welcoming Zimbabwe back to this country for the first time in over 20 years.

"Having recorded record crowds in Test match cricket, The Hundred and domestically, we've been privileged to see the explosion in interest in the women's game first-hand, and our IT20 between England and India will be another landmark event at our venue.

"And England's men have an enviable record in white-ball contests at Trent Bridge, so that late-summer IT20 against South Africa will be one to savour.

“With capacity crowds for several days of our Test Match against West Indies, and another sold-out One Day International against Australia still to come this month, we know the appetite to watch cricket remains as strong as ever.

“That support is always warmly appreciated by all competing teams, and I look forward to those landmark days in our calendar next year.”

The return of Zimbabwe to England will mark their first tour to these shores since 2003, when James Anderson claimed his maiden Test wickets at Lord’s.

Three years prior, the Chevrons ran the Three Lions close at Trent Bridge, with the tourists requiring 211 more runs with nine wickets in hand in a rain-affected clash before time was called.

The news of Zimbabwe’s visit follows a famous 13-run win in a T20 fixture against India in July, marking their credentials under new head coach Justin Sammons, while England recently completed a Test Series clean sweep against West Indies.

England Women will then arrive in Nottingham two years on from an historic five-day Ashes Test Match.

The pristine white flannels will be exchanged for the entertainment of short-format cricket with Heather Knight’s side currently second in the World T20 Rankings, against an Indian outfit in third.

England's previous women's fixture in Nottingham saw Trent Bridge named as the venue offering the finest spectator experience in the country for women's international cricket.

In September, a clash against World Cup finalists South Africa will provide another tantalising test for an England side at a ground famed for white-ball run-scoring, where the ODI world record score has been broken twice in the past decade.

1,200 runs have been scored in the last three Men’s IT20s at Trent Bridge, with Pakistan, India and New Zealand all going toe-to-toe with Jos Buttler’s side.
