Notts wicket-keeper Tom Moores said he was pleased with the progress made on the second day of Nottinghamshire's LV= Insurance County Championship fixture against Kent, despite rain bringing play to a premature close.
Kent finished the day on 102/2 and 248 runs behind, as downpours washed out any chance of a restart after tea.
Moores touched on narrowly missing a century with the bat, having amassed an impressive 94 runs from just 128 balls at number six in the batting order for Notts, and also gave the nod to Calvin Harrison upon the news of his contract extension.
