West Indies will provide the opposition for Ben Stokes’ red-ball side between Thursday 18 and Monday 22 July – the first Men’s Test at Trent Bridge since England’s thrilling victory over New Zealand in 2022 which kickstarted the side’s ‘Bazball’ revolution.
England and Australia’s Men will do battle on Thursday 19 September, having last graced the Trent Bridge turf for a simply unforgettable One-Day International in 2018. On that occasion, the home side obliterated their own 50-over world record – itself set in Nottingham two years previously – to set a new benchmark of 481/6 which included a blistering 147 from Outlaws opener Alex Hales.
The matches will follow two visits from England Men's double world champions this September, with the Three Lions facing New Zealand in a Vitality IT20 on Tuesday 5 September, and entertaining Ireland in a One-Day International on Saturday 23 September. Tickets for both fixtures are on sale now...
“Having just staged an historic, record-breaking Women’s Ashes Test, and with two visits from England Men’s world champions to come this year, we’re thrilled to be able to confirm dates for the return of international cricket next summer,” said Nottinghamshire's Chairman Andy Hunt.
“Not only does this give us much to look forward to in a sporting context; alongside our significant allocation of matches from 2025 to 2031, including two Men’s Ashes Tests, it provides us with a platform from which we can look ahead and plan for the future.
“Our dedicated staff and volunteers may be only partway through delivering great experiences for our members and supporters this summer, but I know they’ll be as excited as I am by the fixtures that are just around the corner.”
