The Blaze’s Kirstie Gordon has signed for Otago Sparks for the remainder of New Zealand’s domestic T20 tournament, the Dream 11 Super Smash.

The left-arm spinner, who played for Lightning from 2018, has been plying her trade in Australia over the winter whilst the East Midlands regional outfit moved their base to Trent Bridge.

Her signing comes with the Sparks fourth in the table and three games remaining in the group stages.

On 29 January, the South-Island based outfit will face winless Central Hinds at the University of Otago Oval

On 4 February, Sparks will play Canterbury Magicians - who currently sit second in the table - at Hagley Oval, with the group stages played to a conclusion with a clash between the same two teams in Otago on the 6th.

The teams in second and third at the conclusion of the round robin will face off in the Elimination final on 9 February, with the Grand Final between the winner and first place in the table taking place two days later.
