Dragons will soar above Nottingham this winter as a spectacular new drone light show arrives at Trent Bridge.
Sky Kingdom will see hundreds of illuminated drones take to the skies above Trent Bridge, creating giant dragons, soaring kingdoms and magical fantasy worlds in a large-scale outdoor spectacle inspired by the timeless appeal of myth and legend.
Created by Britain's Got Talent 2026 finalists Celestial and produced by experience company Yuup, the show combines cutting-edge drone technology with cinematic music to create an immersive experience designed for families, fantasy fans and anyone who loves a spectacular night out.

Sky Kingdom uses synchronised drone choreography to paint enormous fantasy-inspired scenes across the night sky. Audiences can expect towering dragons, enchanted landscapes and epic aerial formations unfolding above them throughout the performance.
The production follows a series of successful touring drone shows from Yuup and Celestial, including stagings of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, WILD and Evolution at Trent Bridge. Since launching the UK's first ticketed touring drone light shows in 2023, the partnership has welcomed more than 200,000 visitors across the country.
"Fantasy has always captured people's imaginations, whether through books, films or games,” said Dominic Mills, founder of Yuup.
“With Sky Kingdom, we're bringing that sense of wonder into the real world, using hundreds of drones to create dragons and magical worlds on a scale that has to be seen to be believed."
Visitors will also be able to enjoy pre-show festivities in the Trent Bridge concourses, featuring food, drinks and entertainment, before the main performance begins after dark.
Unlike traditional fireworks displays, the show contains no loud bangs, making it a quieter experience for audiences while reducing disruption to pets and wildlife.
“After Celestial captured the imaginations of so many during their run to the final of Britain’s Got Talent, we’re looking forward to welcoming visitors old and new for their latest show,” said Joe Sharphouse, Head of Commercial Sales at Trent Bridge.
“Each show they’ve brought to us so far has been spellbinding to watch, providing a really unique way of telling a story.
“These drone shows have become a firm fixture in our winter events calendar, and we can’t wait to host Yuup and Celestial once again in December.”
Sky Kingdom arrives at Trent Bridge on Saturday 5 December as part of a nationwide tour which also includes Brighton, Bristol and Birmingham. For full details visit skykingdomdroneshow.com
