Dates have been confirmed for Trent Bridge’s trio of international fixtures in 2027, including the return of the Men’s Ashes for the first time in 12 years.
England and Australia will do battle in the first Rothesay Test of the series between Friday 18 and Tuesday 22 June – the first Men’s Ashes contest in West Bridgford since a Stuart Broad-inspired Three Lions routed Australia for 60 and won the urn on home soil.
The fixture sees Trent Bridge host pomp and ceremony of the Ashes series opener for the first time since 2013, restoring the venue to a place it traditionally occupied in the schedule for Australia's visits until the 1960s.
That clash will be followed by a Women’s Ashes IT20 on Saturday 3 July, as Nat Sciver-Brunt’s England provide a stern test for Australia’s defending world champions.
Nottingham’s international summer comes to a close with a Metro Bank One Day International between England and New Zealand on Wednesday 22 September, reuniting two sides who have played out several memorable contests in recent years at Trent Bridge and further afield.

Last summer, the venue was again recognised as offering the finest spectator experience for men’s international cricket – having also picked up similar accolades for its hosting of women’s internationals and The Hundred in recent years.
Tickets will be placed on sale to 2027 Nottinghamshire members in the coming weeks, with members who have enjoyed consecutive years of membership enjoying first access to next year’s sought-after seats.
- Monday 3 August: Tickets on sale to supporters who hold 2025, 2026 and 2027 memberships
- Thursday 6 August: Tickets on sale to supporters who hold 2026 and 2027 memberships
- Wednesday 12 August: Tickets on sale to all other 2027 members
The ticket ballot will open on Wednesday 2 September, with any remaining seats available to ballot winners from Tuesday 6 October.
2027 international prices will be confirmed in the coming days.

“The Ashes is cricket’s most historic rivalry – and even after over 200 years, it remains one of its most hotly-anticipated and keenly-fought.
“In many ways, it seems like only yesterday when Stuart Broad ran through the Australia top order to take England to within touching distance of the urn – but after 12 years, we’re more than ready to welcome the contest back.
“To be able to host the first Test – and to do so with our redeveloped Pavilion fully open in time for the fixture – will make the occasion all the more special.
“It’s also been a privilege to see the support for women’s cricket growing at pace, and we can’t wait to host a Women’s Ashes IT20 for the very first time.
“And matches between England and New Zealand have a habit of delivering drama – from the 2019 World Cup Final to Ben Stokes’ unforgettable international retirement this year – so we have our fair share of action and excitement in store.”
