Kathryn and Sarah Bryce, alongside Ella Claridge, are set to represent their respective nations at the upcoming T20 World Cup Global Qualifiers in Nepal.

The Bryce sisters will play for Scotland, while Claridge will be part of the United States squad when the qualifiers commence on Saturday 18th January.

From the ten teams that have made it to the Global Qualifier, four will make it to the final tournament, which is set to be hosted in England and Wales this summer.

Scotland, alongside Bangladesh, earned automatic qualification to this stage by virtue of their performances at the most recent World Cup, which was held in October 2024 in the UAE.

Meanwhile, the United States won the earlier Americas Qualifier, hosted by Argentina in March 2025, to secure their spot.

The Bryces, in Group B, are in line to face hosts Nepal, Netherlands, Thailand, and Zimbabwe, while Claridge could play against Bangladesh, Ireland, Namibia, and Papua New Guinea in Group A.

Following two warm-up matches for both sides, the opening one of which sees them face each other, the USA are in action in the qualifier’s opening game, against Bangladesh.

Scotland follow with their first game against Netherlands two days later, with all matches hosted in either Kathmandu or Kirtipur.

The top three sides from both of the five-team groups will progress to the Super 6 stage, which is another single round-robin group format.

From there, the top four-ranked sides will make it to the final stage of the World Cup, which begins in June this year.
