Trent Rockets are set to begin the process of assembling their final squads after the reveal of the full list of registered players for The Hundred Auction.

A total of 964 players have registered, with the Rockets now joining the other seven sides in selecting between 75 and 100 players whom they are most interested in.

From all teams’ selections, an Auction Longlist - made up of approximately 200 players for both the men’s and women’s competitions - will provide the final group of players up for grabs.

Hosted at Piccadilly Lights in London on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 March, the Auction will therefore see around 400 combined men’s and women’s players go under the hammer.

Players on the initial registration list have set a reserve price based on four bands, with the top men’s players, including David Willey and Akeal Hosein, priced at a minimum of £100,000.

The further bands for the men’s players are £75,000, £50,000, and £31,000, while the top women’s players have a reserve of £50,000.

Bands below that in the women’s competition then come in at £37,500 - in which Alana King is included - £27,500, and £15,000.

Both the Rockets’ men’s and women’s teams head into the Auction having already made the maximum permitted four direct signings.

Batters Tim David and Ben Duckett, and all-rounder Mitchell Santner have agreed deals with the former, with batter Tom Banton joining them as a retention from last year.

For the latter, all-rounders Nat Sciver-Brunt and Ash Gardner return, while batter Sophia Dunkley and seam bowler Kim Garth join as new signings.
