Sarah Bryce top-scored for two consecutive matches as Scotland continued their perfect start to the inaugural ICC Emerging Nations Trophy in Bangkok.

Bryce hit 36 not out from 17 balls to see the Scots to a low-scoring seven-wicket win over Namibia, in which they chased a meagre target of 74 inside nine overs.

A day later, she added an unbeaten 39 from 29 balls to tee up another successful chase, this time of 118 against Papua New Guinea with six wickets to spare.

Chloe Abel did the damage with the ball in the latter match, returning a sparkling 5/13 from four overs, while Katherine Fraser strangled Namibia in the former with 3/9 from her allocation.

Previous wins against Uganda, Tanzania, and United Arab Emirates provided the ideal start to the inaugural Emerging Nations Trophy, which is being played on the back of a breakout 50-over World Cup this autumn.

The victories have all maintained Scotland’s perfect competition so far, and they currently sit atop the table, leading Thailand by two points.

Bryce’s side face the hosts in their final match on Sunday 30th November in a potential decider, though a penultimate clash against fourth-placed Netherlands on Friday 28th is first.
