Half-centuries from Sammy King and Freddie McCann helped Notts amass 278 in the second innings of their Second XI Championship clash with Worcestershire at Kidderminster.
King made 86 from 162 deliveires – finding the fence on ten occasions – with McCann contributing 74, and the pair sharing a sixth-wicket stand of 161.
Set 187 to win, Worcestershire reached 15/0 in reply before stumps were called on day two.
