Jake Ball took four wickets, while there was a brace of scalps for Steven Mullaney, as Nottinghamshire’s Second XI conceded a first-innings defecit to Worcestershire on day one at Kidderminster.
The right-armer finished with figures of 4/70, with Mullaney recording 2/23 and Fateh Singh, Olly Stone and Toby Pettman picked up a wicket apiece as the hosts made 231.
Worcestershire’s tally came in response to 139 from Nottinghamshire, for whom opener Ben Martindale made 39, and Liam Patterson-White 25.
