Nottinghamshire's Paul Franks previews his winter ahead, during which he will spend time with England U19s on their pre-ICC U19 World Cup tour of India in November, and the subsequent tournament in Sri Lanka in the new year.

The homegrown former seamer discusses the challenges he and the coaching team face in preparing players for sub-continental conditions and the international experience, whilst reflecting on the skills he has to offer and what he can learn.

Franks, who oversees the progression of Notts' Second XI, also touches on the development of Notts' Farhan Ahmed who has been included in the 17-man squad to play the quadrangular series in India.
