Former Nottinghamshire cricketer and England Rugby Union International Dusty Hare will be the first guest of the Nottingham Cricket Lovers Society for their 2023/24 programme of meetings.
Dusty will speak about his life and times in the Boundary's Edge Suite at Trent Bridge on Thursday 5 October, with a 7pm start.
Nottinghamshire heritage volunteer John Hess will also give a talk on the night, celebrating the East Midlands cricketing pioneer Eileen White and her efforts against Australia at Trent Bridge.
Membership of the society remains at £15 per person for the full programme of 7 meetings - or £5 on the night for an individual meeting.
