Nottinghamshire’s fixtures across all formats for the 2024 season have been announced, with a dramatic increase in the amount of red and white-ball cricket being played at weekends in store.

All seven of Notts’ home County Championship fixtures will take place over the course of a weekend, with four games beginning on a Friday, and three on a Thursday.
A refreshed Vitality Blast schedule will see six of the Outlaws’ seven home games played on a Friday night or weekend, beginning with a half-term Blast Off double-header involving The Blaze on Friday 31 May.
Four Metro Bank One Day Cup fixtures will be staged during the summer holidays - two at Trent Bridge, and a further pair at the John Fretwell Centre, Sookholme.
In total, the Green and Golds are scheduled to play 39 days of cricket at home once again, with 37 of those at Trent Bridge.
Notts bookend the season with County Championship fixtures at home, opening their campaign against Essex from Friday 5 April and finishing against Warwickshire from Friday 26 September.
Seven successive red-ball games, home and away, open the season, before Trent Bridge hosts red-ball contests in June, August and September.
The Outlaws' Vitality Blast campaign features three Friday-night fixtures - including a Rivals Week clash with Derbyshire Falcons - along with three further weekend fixtures and a Thursday-night clash with Worcestershire Rapids.
As Trent Bridge dusts itself down from the return of Ben Stokes’ England, Notts open their home Metro Bank One Day Cup campaign at the John Fretwell Centre, hosting Sussex and Yorkshire on 26 and 28 July respectively.
The Outlaws then return to Nottingham to face Gloucestershire and Essex on 9 and 11 August.
The Blaze, meanwhile, will host four fixtures at Trent Bridge as part of an expanded summer of white-ball cricket - including three standalone matchdays. Read more here...
