Former winners of The Hundred with Oval Invincibles, Fran Wilson and Jo Gardner, also move to the East Midlands alongside Nat Wraith and Cassidy McCarthy.

Elsewhere, Matt Critchley is joining London Spirit, and Henry Brookes and Jacob Bethell are both making Edgbaston their home for The Hundred after impressive campaigns in the Vitality Blast, while Richa Ghosh, Lauren Filer and Mahika Gaur are three stand-out signings in the women’s competition.

Trent Rockets and Southern Brave will go head-to-head on Tuesday 1 August, the opening matchday of the third year of The Hundred. The double-header is the first of 34 matchdays that promise high-octane men’s and women’s sporting action, live music, and a host of family-friendly entertainment.

Trent Rockets’ men will be looking to retain the title won in 2022, whilst the women are looking to go better than the third placed finish secured last time out.

Over half a million people attended games during The Hundred’s second year in 2022, including a record-breaking 271,000 watching live women’s fixtures across the competition and more families buying tickets than in 2021.

Tickets this year remain great value in line with 2022 pricing, with prices set at £5 for juniors aged 6-15, free for children five and under, and adults starting from £10.

Tom Moores said: “I’m delighted to have been signed in the Vitality Wildcard Draft – a system that works really well. I’ve been happy with my form in the T20 competition and hopefully I can take that form into The Hundred.

“And it’s brilliant to stay at Trent Rockets, where I’ve really enjoyed the last few years. It’s a great atmosphere here and winning the tournament last year made it even more special”

Cassidy McCarthy said: “I can’t wait to be part of The Hundred this year. Trent Bridge is an amazing place to play and train, and even just to be part of the competition is something I am really looking forward to.”
