After substantial rain and a forecast which saw no sign of improvement, Saturday's Metro Bank 50 Over match against Yorkshire at Trent Bridge was abandoned shortly before 1pm.
Standing water on the Trent Bridge turf and continual rain since the early hours of the morning meant the playing surface reached saturation point.
Umpires Rob Bailey, Neil Mallender and match referee Ian Herbert made an early call to abandon the game at around 12.45pm after consultation with Steve Birks, Notts CCC head groundsperson.
Both teams will share the spoils claiming one point each in their quest for 50 over success.
Ticket refunds
Any spectators who purchased tickets and/or parking passes will shortly receive a full refund, which will be processed automatically.

Today's fixture also doubled as our Family Fun Day, and was set to provide an opportunity to showcase the work of our charitable arm, the Trent Bridge Community Trust, and our beneficiary, Luke Fletcher.

Notts will hope to get back winning ways on Tuesday when they travel to the Upton Steel County Ground in Leicester to take on the Foxes.
We can’t wait to welcome you back to a sunnier, drier Trent Bridge in the future.
