Tickets for Trent Bridge’s trio of 2023 international fixtures are now on general sale.

England will entertain Australia for the sole Test Match of the Women’s Ashes in June, the hosts’ first Test on home soil to be played over five days, before New Zealand's men visit for a Vitality International T20 clash in September.

Commencing on Thursday 22 June, England Women’s red-ball contest against Australia will constitute part of a multi-format Ashes series also featuring three IT20s and three ODIs. It will be the home side’s second Test Match at Trent Bridge and their first at the venue since 1979.

The men’s T20 contest between England and New Zealand on Tuesday 5 September comes on the back of a recent history of memorable meetings between the two sides.

The tournament hosts famously secured silverware by the barest of margins in the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup at Lord’s, before New Zealand extracted revenge with a five-wicket win in Abu Dhabi in the 20-over equivalent competition two years later.

Last time the two sides met in international cricket at Trent Bridge last summer, Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes inspired England to a pulsating Test Match victory, before a capacity crowd, with a successful run-chase of 299-5.

Ireland, meanwhile, will visit Trent Bridge on Saturday 23 September buoyed by an historic victory against England in the ICC Men’s T20 tournament in Australia, having also triumphed when the two teams last met in 50-over cricket, in a final-over thriller at the Ageas Bowl in 2020.

The host nation, meanwhile, will be fine-tuning their preparations for the World Cup in India, at which they will seek to defend the 50-over crown they secured on home soil four years prior.

“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to create history for the women’s game at Trent Bridge,” said Nottinghamshire Commercial Director Michael Temple.

“Coming on the back of record crowds to watch the Trent Rockets at our venue this summer and recently becoming hosts of the East Midlands’ regional hub, our commitment to the women’s game is tangible and clear.

“Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers will treat the Women’s Test Match with all the same determination to deliver great experiences and memorable occasions as we do each year for the men.

“At Trent Bridge, Test Match cricket is the format that we hold most dear and I believe the support of our loyal audience from across the region will help us secure crowds worthy of the occasion.

“With both T20 and 50-over internationals for the men’s team added to our Women’s Test Match, it means that we get to host cricket at the highest level in all formats at Trent Bridge in 2023,” Temple continued.

“Our standing as a world stage venue is at the heart of our identity, central to our business model and a critical strand of the economy and employment market within our borough, our city and our wider county.”
