The life and times of Sir Julien Cahn and Sir Neville Cardus will be discussed at the next meeting of the Nottingham Cricket Lovers' Society, which will be held on Thursday 31 March from 7.30pm in the Long Room.
Heritage volunteer Mike McNamara will deliver a talk on Sir Julien’s association with cricket, with the businessman having been President of Notts on three occasions and having helped to fund several ground developments at Trent Bridge.
Local cricket historian and author of Cardus Uncovered Chris O’Brien will share his ground-breaking research on Sir Neville’s life as a celebrated cricket writer and music critic.
Admission will be free for society members, and £5 for non-members.
