Joey Evison spoke of his appreciation for the returning Nottinghamshire faithful as he marked the first day of pre-season action in 2022 with a century.
The homegrown all-rounder, who finished unbeaten on 103 from 142 deliveries, was also quick to acclaim the brisk runmaking of half-centurions Ben Duckett and Lyndon James as Notts passed 400 in their first innings of the summer.
