Joe Clarke has been named in the BBL Team of the Tournament after enjoying a hugely productive campaign with Melbourne Stars.
The Outlaws opener struck 419 runs for David Hussey’s side at a strike rate of 151.26, with his five half-centuries including a run of four consecutive fifties.
Clarke’s tally is the highest of any Englishman involved in the eleventh edition of the Australian T20 tournament, with Alex Hales (383 runs) and Ben Duckett (302 runs) occupying second and third spots on the list.
The 25-year-old has also been employed behind the stumps by the Stars, recording five catches and three stumpings across 12 appearances with the gloves.
Clarke, who plundered 408 runs for the Outlaws in the 2021 Vitality Blast, now moves on to Pakistan, where he will be reunited with Nottinghamshire Head Coach Peter Moores and analyst Kunal Manek at Karachi Kings.
