Nottinghamshire members and supporters will once again be able to witness their club’s home action throughout the 2021 season online, with the return of the live streaming service via trentbridge.co.uk.
Trent Bridge Live, delivered in partnership with Stoneheart Media, will return in time for the club’s behind closed doors pre-season friendlies against Oxford UCCE and Leicestershire, with the first broadcast set to commence at 11am on Wednesday 24 March.
Viewers will be able to take in the action via a multi-camera feed with ball-tracking, action replays, integrated BBC match commentary and on-screen graphics throughout each production.
Nottinghamshire’s coverage of the competitive county competitions will also feature comprehensive pre-match build up and post-match reaction.
“The enhanced live stream proved to be very popular in 2020 and we were grateful to receive such positive feedback from our members, supporters and sponsors,” said Thomas Holdcroft, the club’s Head of Marketing and Communications.
“The many thousands of people watching via the stream became a talking point for the players and coaching staff too, further fuelling their determination to represent those that weren’t able to be there each time they stepped onto the field.
“We’re proud to have been able to tell Nottinghamshire’s story during the past few summers.”

“With the likelihood of the beginning of the season being played behind closed doors, our live streaming ensures that people need not miss out on enjoying the action during that period.
“However, we will continue to offer the service from all non-televised matchdays this season once crowds have returned to our venue, thus continuing to take county cricket into our communities on the largest possible scale.”
Coverage of Nottinghamshire’s home domestic season in 2020 garnered in excess of two million views online, with the Outlaws’ victory over Yorkshire Vikings in a Vitality Blast nailbiter at Trent Bridge proving to be the most popular fixture.
This summer will see the club’s partnership with Stoneheart Media move into its fourth year, with the Nottingham-based digital agency having previously joined forces with the club to deliver last season’s live stream and the award-winning 2019 documentary series All In.
“We’re proud to have been able to tell Nottinghamshire’s story during the past few summers,” said their Chief Executive Kirsty Lord.
“Our mission with Trent Bridge Live is to ensure that the connection between the players and their supporters is as strong as ever and on as large a scale as possible.
“That mission begins with delivering comprehensive coverage of the county season – and plans are firmly in place to deliver that coverage to exacting standards again in the coming weeks.
“Within the margins of that coverage, we will also endeavour to shine a light on the personalities in the home dressing room and the off-field effort that makes their on-field performances possible.
“We look forward to documenting Notts’ exploits once more this year.”
