Liam Patterson-White feels Nottinghamshire's fighting spirit was firmly in evidence as they staged a lower-order fightback on day one of their LV= Insurance County Championship fixture with Warwickshire.
Patterson-White, who hit a career-best unbeaten 73, spoke of the confidence he will take from his performance with the bat into his endeavours with the ball, and reflected on his hopes that the two Warwickshire wickets secured late on day one will provide a boost for the Notts bowling attack.
