Memorable meeting
The Outlaws have been blessed with a slew of heavy hitters in recent white-ball seasons, but the high-water mark for destructive powerplay hitting remains the fixture between Notts and Durham in 2017.
Alex Hales and Riki Wessels marmalised the visiting attack, hitting 106 runs from the opening six overs of the innings.
The Trent Bridge faithful were treated to eight sixes and 11 fours in the opening exchanges as the first-wicket pair laid a dauting foundation.
Hales would top-score with 95, falling one lusty blow short of equalling the world record for the fastest individual T20 century of all time, held by Chris Gayle.
Earlier, Durham had made 183-7 from their 20 overs – a not inconsiderable target which was quickly made to feel miniscule by the efforts of those in green and gold.
Wessels finished unbeaten on 41, with Samit Patel notching 26 as the Outlaws triumphed with almost six overs to spare.
