Steven Mullaney believes the performances and passion shown during the course of the Bob Willis Trophy campaign will stand Nottinghamshire in good stead for next year's First-Class season.
The skipper was speaking after an entertaining final session of Notts v Durham ended in a draw despite a swashbuckling run-chase from Peter Trego and Ben Duckett.
Mullaney also spoke of the bonds which this most unusual of seasons had forged inside the Trent Bridge dressing room.
