Joe Clarke has been named Nottinghamshire’s Vitality Blast Player of the Season.
The Outlaws number three hit 371 runs in the Green and Golds’ victorious campaign, becoming the fourth man to score a T20 century for Notts in the process.
Clarke’s runs came at a strike-rate of 175.00 – the highest of any of the competition’s top 50 run-scorers.
“Having had some really strong personal success, in which he showed us what a classy operator he is, there’s nothing better than rounding it off with a trophy,” said Assistant Head Coach Paul Franks.
“I think there’s a lot more to come from Joe, not just in the Blast but across all formats. I’m really excited at what the future holds for him.”
