Imad Wasim has been signed by Melbourne Renegades for the upcoming BBL season.
All-rounder Wasim, who made nine appearances as the Outlaws triumphed in the 2020 Vitality Blast, will be available for the Renegades from Boxing Day.
The 31-year-old is seeking his third white-ball trophy in a matter of months, having skippered a Karachi Kings side including Alex Hales to the PSL title in November.
Wasim will face Hales in Australia, with the Outlaws opener part of the Sydney Thunder setup. Meanwhile, fellow Green and Golds Dan Christian and Joe Clarke form part of Sydney Sixers and Perth Scorchers’ squads respectively.
The men’s edition of the BBL is due to begin on 10 December.
