Elizabeth Ammon, cricket writer with The Times newspaper, will be the guest speaker at this year’s Trent Bridge Festive Lunch on Wednesday 4 December.
A firm fixture in press boxes up and down the country, Ammon has been The Times’ cricket news reporter since 2017, having previously contributed to publications including The Guardian, The Independent and Wisden Cricket Monthly. She also features regularly as a broadcaster for Sky and the BBC, including on the latter’s live commentary of Nottinghamshire fixtures.
Ammon will share stories from her life in cricket, having developed her love for the game while acting as a scorer for Sheffield Collegiate CC before moving into junior coaching and writing for some of the UK’s most prestigious sports publications.
The annual event will take place in the Derek Randall Suite on Wednesday 4 December from 12 noon.
A welcome drink will be served on arrival, followed by a two course lunch with coffee and mince pies.
Tickets cost £26.50 per person and can be purchased here.
