Nottinghamshire's Liam Patterson-White admitted that his early performances in a Notts shirt have been a dream start after he picked up three wickets on his home debut at Trent Bridge.
The youngster took a maiden five-wicket haul in his first appearance against Somerset earlier this week and he picked up from where he left off against Surrey removing Will Jacks, Rikki Clarke and Morne Morkel.
His three wickets helped the home side bowl out Surrey for 240 on the opening day of their Specsavers County Championship encounter with fellow spinner Ravi Ashwin picking up six Surrey scalps.
Samit Patel capped off a perfect day for the spinners by taking the other wicket to fall on a day where Notts will be the happier of the two teams.
