Nottinghamshire’s Second XI clash against Durham is set for a thrilling finale after the best efforts of Matt Milnes (3-40) couldn’t prevent the home side from building a competitive lead.
Durham, who were bowled out for 118 in their first innings, ended the day on 297-8 in their second – thanks largely to Adam Hickey’s 144.
They lead by 214 runs with one day remaining at Chester-le-Street.
