Nottinghamshre’s second XI were victorious in their rain affected championship game against Lancashire at Lady Bay.
No play was possible on the second day meaning that both teams had to forfeit an innings in order to get a result from the game and Lancashire eventually declared on 280-8.
Matt Milnes the pick of the Notts bowlers with 2 wickets for just 10 runs from his 10 overs.
Notts reached their target of 281 from 57.3 overs thanks to an unbeaten century from Brendan Taylor, who scored 104, and Connor Marshall who made 64 without losing his wicket.
The win sees Notts rise to fourth in the Second Eleven Championship North Division.
