Ireland Captain William Porterfield insisted spirits in the Ireland camp remain high despite today's eight-wicket ICC Cricket World Cup defeat against India.
The Irish made 259 all out batting first in Hamilton, Niall O'Brien top-scoring with 75, before Shikhar Dhawan's 85 ball 100 propelled the holders towards victory, which they completed with 13 overs to spare.
"We are disappointed as we could have got another 50 or 60 at least," Porterfield said.
"But you have to give a lot of credit to them, the way they kept fighting and came back and how well they played with the bat. They made it look very easy.
"It was a very good pitch, there was a lot of help and we capitalised on that. We couldn't kick on like their pair and that was the difference.
"We just lost wickets at key times but all in all we played very well."
Ireland must now win against Pakistan on Sunday to progress to the quarter-finals, but Porterfield wants his team to enjoy the occasion rather than feel pressure.
"We will refresh; we have put in a lot of yards. Win and we are through to the quarter-finals so we have to be ready for that," he added.
"Today's game wasn't be all and end all, we played good cricket, spirits are high.
"We lost our way a little at times. But there is plenty to go forward with, we are enjoying our cricket and playing it with a smile on our faces.
"We won't die wondering, we will give it a good go.
"We are looking forward to the game. They are bowling well, but not batting too great.
"To get through would mean absolutely everything."
