Charlie Shreck will make his final appearance for Nottinghamshire having replaced Darren Pattinson in the team to face Sussex in the final LV= County Championship match of the season at Trent Bridge.
Shreck will join Kent next season in search of regular first team cricket having featured in nine championship games this season.
Nottinghamshire will be otherwise unchanged with Karl Turner given another opportunity to impress before a decision is made on his future. Turner, who has also trialled at Hampshire following his departure from Durham, has a highest score of 40 in 7 LV= County Championship innings for Nottinghamshire.
Alex Hales requires 27 runs to surpass 1000 in the LV= County Championship for the first time having carried his bat for 106 in Nottinghamshire’s second innings at Warwickshire.
Monty Panesar (64) and Alan Richardson (67) are the main contenders for Andre Adams’ (62) leading wicket-taker crown. Adams left Edgbaston empty-handed but will still hold hopes of repeating the feat he managed last season.
Worcestershire travel to Durham needing a solitary point to condemn Yorkshire to relegation whilst title-hopefuls Warwickshire and Lancashire travel to Hampshire and Somerset respectively.
