Andre Adams was crowned Player of the Season at the Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club Gala Dinner on Wednesday.
The New Zealand international took 68 wickets in 14 LV= County Championship appearances including the dismissal of Shivnarine Chanderpaul that secured the title for the first time since 2005.
“All of the guys contributed to a wonderful season and to win it in the way that we did was magical,” said Adams.

“Paul Franks had a magnificent season and has really stepped up and I’d also like to thank guys like Graeme Swann and Stuart Broad who have performed when they have been available to us.
“I live with Charlie Shreck who was won this award twice before so it’s nice to get one back on him.”
All-rounder Steven Mullaney was awarded young player of the year after a solid debut season that saw him establish his credentials in all three formats.
The award for most improved academy player was won by batsman Sam Wood.
Guests greeted Mick Newell, Chris Read and the squad with a rapturous round of applause as they paraded the Lord’s Taverners ECB trophy.
Former England captain Chris Cowdrey served as the guest speaker and club sponsors PKF, Orchid IT, Capital One and South Nottingham College received signed shirts in recognition of their support.
