Ashwell Prince and Rob Ferley have been named in the Notts Outlaws side to face Durham Dynamos in Tuesday’s NatWest Pro40 floodlit fixture at Trent Bridge (play starts 4.10pm).
The fixture is the first to be played under the club’s newly-installed permanent floodlights and provides Notts with an opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the table.
Prince will bat at number four with Will Jefferson re-joining Matt Wood in the opening partnership whilst Ferley is the sole spinner in the absence of Graeme Swann and Samit Patel.
“Rob has been patient but with Samit and Graeme away he has a chance to show what he can do with a run in the side,” said Notts Director of Cricket Mick Newell.
“He’s a very confident one day player and he demonstrated that he can have an influence on the side with his performances in the Friends Provident Trophy.
“Ashwell comes into the side and he’ll put pressure on himself to make a big impression. We all know what he’s capable of and he’ll be keen to reach big scores and help us to win games at the most important stage of the season.”
Tickets are available on the day from the ticket point on Bridgford Road priced £16 for adults, £8 for senior citizens, £8 for juniors and £40 for families (two adults and two children).
