All-rounder Mark Ealham is confident that Notts Outlaws have enough in reserve to cope without their England players in tonight’s NatWest Pro40 game against Durham Dynamos at Trent Bridge.
Rob Ferley and Will Jefferson have been recalled to the side and South African batsman Ashwell Prince makes his debut under the floodlights in the televised clash.
“Of course we’ll miss our England players but we always manage to get 11 quality performers on the pitch at Notts and the guys that are coming in have big parts to play,” said Ealham.
“Losing Samit and Graeme has meant that we’ve had to address the balance of the side with the inclusion of a batsmen and a spinner at the expense of two all-rounders but we’ve got enough in our armoury.
“Ashwell is an established international and his runs can help to keep us in the hunt for trophies and it will be interesting to assess the conditions because the ball has always done a bit in floodlit matches at Trent Bridge.”
Tickets are available from the ticket point on Bridgford Road priced £16 for adults, £8 for senior citizens, £8 for juniors and £40 for families (two adults and two children).
Play starts at 4.10pm.
