As The Blaze’s Elite Pathway Manager, Cain Hamilton-Boyle takes overall responsibility for the development of the next generation in Nottinghamshire.
A graduate of the University of Bedfordshire, he began his career with Cricket East, before joining Middlesex as their Emerging Player Talent Manager in October 2020.
Having worked with the Seaxes for a little over 18 months, he moved north to join Lightning for the 2022 season as Senior Regional Talent Manager at the then-regional outfit.
He retained the role for the next two summers when the side moved to Trent Bridge and became known as The Blaze, before having his role reshaped into its current guise at the start of 2025, when The Blaze became an exclusively Nottinghamshire representative team.
Over Hamilton-Boyle's tenure in the East Midlands, three players - Liv Baker, Prisha Thanawala, and Amy Wheeler - have graduated from the Academy to the first XI squad, with three more current members of the Academy cohort also involved in 2025/26 winter training.
In January 2026, concurrently with his role at Trent Bridge, he was also appointed as batting coach to England Women Under-19s.
