Ben Martindale passed 150 on the first day of Nottinghamshire Second XI’s Championship calsh with Gloucestershire at Rockhampton.
Opener Martindale reached his ton from 145 balls,and retained his composure as wickets began to fall later in the day.
The right-hander had moved to an unbeaten 167 at stumps on day one, as Notts closed on 347/5.
He had support from Henry Rogers (52) and Sam Seecharan (41), with middle-order support from Josh Beer (35) as the visitors secured the upper hand in the opening exchanges.
