Keerath Cheema took four wickets as Nottinghamshire U18 secured one win from two T20 friendlies against Warwickshire at Lady Bay.
Cheema finished with figures of 4/10 from 3.1 overs as his right-arm seam proved decisive, taking the match-sealing wicket of Rory Mustard (16) in the final over as Warwickshire moved within eight runs of chasing down victory.
The Bears were dismissed for 132, eight runs short of Notts’ total of 132/8 from their 20 overs – a total boosted by Daniel Cole’s quickfire 44 from 30 balls at number eight.
