A century from skipper Josh Beer was the defining contribution as Nottinghamshire U18s cruised to a six-wicket win in a 50-over friendly against Worcestershire at Kidderminster.
Beer’s top-order ton included 17 fours and included a century stand for the fourth wicket with Oscar Butcher (36*), with wicketkeeper Toby Lambert scoring 33 as the visitors chased down their target of 208 with almost nine overs to spare.
Earlier, there were three wickets apiece for spinners Mihir Patel and Dulina Mudaliga as the Rapids limped to 208 all out from 41 overs.
