Tom Moores and Peter Moores both made the final with their respective franchise sides, as the Outlaws’ and The Blaze’s winter commitments began.

Tom was part of Montreal Royal Tigers’ side in the Canada Super 60, played in a T10 format, who were ultimately defeated by Brampton Blitz in the final. Joe Clarke represented White Rock Warriors, hitting a top score of 60* as his side exited in the group stages.

Notts Head Coach Peter, meanwhile, led Dallas Lonestars to the showpiece in the USA’s National Cricket League, also contested as a T10, with LA Waves ultimately prevailing.

Down Under, Fergus O'Neill has continued to display strong form with the red ball, taking 5/26 for Victoria in their Sheffield Shield clash with New South Wales.

Australia’s Women’s National Cricket League features Kathryn Bryce and Heather Graham, with the duo representing Tasmania and Western Australia respectively.

So far, Bryce has hit 78 runs and taken 7 wickets, leaving her fourth on the list of leading wicket-takers, while Graham’s two appearances have yielded 94 runs and five wickets.

The Blaze's England trio in the ICC Women's World Cup have contributed to a positive start to the group stage for the Three Lions. Captain Nat Sciver-Brunt hit a brilliant 117 as they secured a third successive win, with Tammy Beaumont and Amy Jones also ever-present as England sought a spot in the knockout stages.

Squads have been finalised, meanwhile, for the ILT20, which will take place in the UAE across December and January. Olly Stone (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders) and Tom Moores (Gulf Giants) will both appear in the competition.
