Liam Patterson-White was again in the wickets as Nottinghamshire 2nd XI made the best of a batting-friendly pitch on Day Two of their friendly with Hampshire.
Played at the Nursery Ground on the Utilita Bowl site, the hosts moved from their overnight 10 without loss to 355-5, as Patterson-White returned figures of 3/64.
Felix Organ and Joe Weatherley kept their side on course with scores of 80 and 77, respectively, while Tom Giles and Rob Lord each took a wicket to back up Patterson-White.
With a combination of rain and bad light keeping the players from the field for over an hour in the middle of the afternoon, only 87 overs were possible as the hosts closed 35 runs in arrears.
