Durham’s Second XI prevailed over Nottinghamshire by 52 runs at Lady Bay despite a fine all-round performance from Liam Patterson-White.
Having scored 165 and taken seven wickets in the first innings, Patterson-White secured six scalps in the second as the visitors amassed 389 in their second innings, aided by a century from Faizan Ghumann.
Notts made 187 in their second innings, with Travis Holland (29), Matt Montgomery (24) and Akand Gangotra (24*) making the most significant contributions in the face of a fine bowling performance from Callum Parkinson.
The spinner accounted for the majority of the hosts’ lower order as Durham secured the spoils in the friendly encounter.
