Player-coach Steven Mullaney praised the work ethic shown by Nottinghamshire's second team after clinching the Second XI Championship title.
The Green and Golds won five of their eight matches - losing just once - as Ben Martindale (638 runs) and Fateh Singh (33 wickets) starred for Notts in the batting and bowling departments respectively.
Mullaney thanked the group for the reception shown to his new role as coach and second string captain, while expressing his delight at the seamless step-up of several individuals to the Nottinghamshire first team.
