Head Coach Peter Moores was full of compliments for a hardened team performance against County Championship leaders Surrey, which earned a valuable draw in the battle for Division One consolidation.
Moores analysed several impressive individual displays, notably a historic 10-wicket match haul from 16-year-old Farhan Ahmed and a first Trent Bridge ton for teenage all-rounder Freddie McCann, as a five-fer from Liam Patterson-White and an unbeaten stand from Haseeb Hameed and Ben Slater saw out the draw in West Bridgford.
