2025 Vitality Blast fixtures: frequently asked questions

When are the rest of the 2025 fixtures being released?

Nottinghamshire’s fixtures in the Rothesay County Championship, along with Notts and The Blaze’s games in the Metro Bank One Day Cup, will be announced at 10am on Tuesday 26 November.

When will the knockout stages and Finals Days for the T20 competitions take place?

Vitality Blast Women’s Finals Day will take place at the Kia Oval, London, on Sunday 27 July. The day will see a play-off take place between the second and third-placed sides in the Blast table, with the group winners progressing straight to the final. The men’s competition concludes with quarter-finals between Wednesday 3 September and Saturday 6 September, before the semi-finals and final take place on Finals Day at Edgbaston on Saturday 13 September.

Will one ticket get me into both halves of a double-header at Trent Bridge?

Yes – for each double-header at Trent Bridge, your match ticket will grant you entry to both the men’s and women’s fixture.

Why don’t Notts play each team twice, home and away, in the Vitality Blast?

The Vitality Blast men’s competition sees the 18 counties split into two groups of nine, with the group stage consisting of 14 games overall - as has been the case for a number of years. Therefore, each county plays six of its neighbours twice, one county at home only, and one county away from home only. In 2025, Notts Outlaws will not play Northants Steelbacks at home, and will not travel to Yorkshire. The top four sides in each group will progress to the quarter finals.

The Vitality Blast women's competition features eight competing teams, with each side playing their opponents both home and away in a 14-game group stage. The top three then qualify for the knockout stages, with the table-toppers going straight through to the final, and the second and third-placed teams battling for the right to meet them.

What does a Nottinghamshire membership entitle me to?

Nottinghamshire members are entitled entry to every scheduled home fixture for Notts in the Rothesay County Championship, Vitality Blast and Metro Bank One Day Cup – as well as all fixtures for The Blaze at Trent Bridge in the Blast and One Day Cup. A host of additional perks, including voting rights and priority access to knockout fixtures, are also available.
