Nottinghamshire’s U18s secured two wins from four in their half-term county T20 competition at York.
The Outlaws picked up a pair of victories on Friday, beating Durham by 87 runs before overhauling Derbyshire’s target with nine wickets in hand.
Sam Seecharan was the architect of the win over the North East outfit, hitting 91 from 47 balls at the top of the order as Notts racked up 200/6.
In reply, there were two wickets apiece for Thomas Giles, Farhan Ahmed, Josh Parsons and Jacob Hughes, with Josh Beer also picking up a scalp, as Durham limped to 113/9.
Later, Akand Gangotra took centre-stage with 4/29 against the Falcons, with Giles taking 3/17 as Derbyshire were dismissed for 134.
Notts completed the chase with just under six overs to spare, Seecharan hitting an unbeaten 84 from 42 and Hughes contributing 43* from 33.
On Wednesday, Notts fell 13 runs short of Lancashire’s 184/6 – an innings in which Giles took three wickets – despite 34 from Travis Holland and 32 from Byron Hatton-Lowe.
Thursday saw the Outlaws suffer the agony of a two-run defeat to Leicestershire, having dismissed the Foxes for 124 – Hatton-Lowe taking 3/17.
The all-rounder then top-scored in the chase with 43 from 30 as Notts ultimately fell short.
