Olly Stone has been named the John Pye Auctions Player of the Month for June, after making a host of key contributions with bat and ball.

The fast bowler is the Outlaws’ leading wicket-taker in the Vitality Blast so far, and took 12 T20 scalps in the month of June.

But it was his batting which stood out in red-ball cricket, as he made 83 in the first innings against Somerset before hitting 63 as a nightwatchman in the fixture’s second innings.

Stone was presented with his award ahead of Notts Outlaws’ Vitality Blast clash with Leicestershire Foxes, with John Pye Auctions’ Head of Marketing, Emily Tomlinson, in attendance to hand over the honour.
